FIELD: granulating materials. SUBSTANCE: melt is fed from the top to the working zone as a flat coolant jet directed at 20-35°to the melt jet under pressure. When both of the jets collide the melt are spread and drops are formed. The granules occur downstream of the intersection plane of the jets. The coolant jet is introduced in the region of the contact of the jets to provide the jet ratio of 0.2-0.5. Water serves as a coolant. The mass flows of the melt and water relate as 0.3-1.0. EFFECT: simplified method. 4 cl, 1 dwg
