FIELD: processing of sulfur. SUBSTANCE: origin sulfur is affected by melting and thus prepared melt is heated to temperature being higher than melting point of sulfur. The process is followed by separation melt into drops and by its rapid cooling in cooling medium. Separation of melt is carried out with the help of air stream in vacuum region, thus obtained air-drop jet being cooled in atmospheric air. Cooling rate is maintained within 4•104-1•105 C/s range. EFFECT: control of particles size and their homogeneity is provided. 1 dwg
