FIELD: petroleum chemistry. SUBSTANCE: coal- oil paste is heated in the presence of catalyst. Catalyst is used in form of flotation product of tails of iron ore electromagnetic separation in mixture with elementary sulfur taken in the amount of 2.0-5.0 mas. of coal. Flotation concentrate is preliminarily subjected to mechanical and chemical treatment in aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide with concentration of 0.1-0.5 m/lat centrifugal acceleration of 600- 1000 m/s. Produced pulp is mixed with coal, dried and added to paste forming agent in preparation of coal-oil paste. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 tbl
