FIELD: chemical sources of electric energy. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to manufacture of alkaline storage cells with nickel hydroxide cathodes. Porous metal-and-ceramic base is submerged into solution of sodium hydroxide having concentration 40-65 per cent by mass at temperature 130-165 C and anode oxidation is conducted at current density 1.0-7.0 A/sq.dm first to obtain hydroxide of bivalent and then to obtain hydroxide of trivalent nickel. EFFECT: increased productivity, intensification of process, provision for ecological cleanness and no waste process.
