FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method for production of oxide-nickel electrode includes activation of graphitised viscose material by saturation of nickel ions from solution of nickel sulfate at the concentration of 50-320 g/l for 5-75 minutes, galvanic nickelling of graphitised viscose material, additional deposition of nickel by galvanic method in zone of current pickup welding by galvanic method; prepressing of electrode current pickup welding zone with pressure of 500-2100 MPa, soaking of highly porous nickel base in solution of nickel nitrate with concentration of 190-210 g/l for 15-75 minutes, electrochemical deposition of nickel hydroxide onto electrode stock with formation of electrodes, with further washing and drying of electrodes, additional generation of electrodes in compressed condition in excess electrolyte.

EFFECT: improved cyclic, resource and specific capacitance characteristics of nickel-cadmium accumulators.
