SUBSTANCE: device has powder fire extinguishing agent, hollow cylindric casing with bottom and cover mounted in the casing outlet opening, piston mounted in the casing to eject the powder, pyrotechnic charge with booster placed into the casing cavity between the bottom and the piston and canal connecting the cavity between the bottom and the piston with atmosphere. The device has gas conduit connecting the cavity between the bottom and the piston with the powder cavity where the powder has the density of 1,0...1,4 g/cm3. Device hindering the powder to penetrate into the gas conduit is set on the end part of the gas conduit. The gas conduit is designed to increase the powder charge mass in the fire extinguisher by 20-40% EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of powder scattering; increased jet opening angle. 9 cl, 3 dwg
