FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: power plant has engine, mechanism for transmitting rotation, and working member made up as a flywheel. The engine is constructed as solid shaft 3 and hollow shaft 5 mounted coaxially inside housing 1, diametrically coupled plates mounted on shafts 3 and 5 of the engine, and stop rods 9 and 10 secured at the outer ends of the shafts outside of housing 1. The stop rods interact with the stop groove of plate spring 12 secured to base 11 of the plant. Inlet valve 29 and outlet valve 30 are secured to the opposite sides of housing 1 of the engine. Device for ignition is positioned on the housing as well. The mechanism for transmitting rotation includes driving gears 15 and 16 secured to the outer ends of shafts 3 and 5 respectively, driven gear 17, driving shaft 18, cylindrical cam 19 with shaped groove 20 and pin 21 received in it, and spline clutch 22 coupled with flywheel 24 through shaft 23.
