FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: converter of polarization resistance to measure corrosion rate in pipe-lines has three electrodes (working 1, auxiliary 2 and comparison 3), insulation flanges 4 made from dielectric material, magnetic amplifier composed of two identical primary windigs 5 wound on common core 6 and secondary winding 7, generator 8 of rectangular pulses and four keys 9-12. Electrodes are positioned uniaxially and in series and are separated by insulating flanges. Working and comparison electrodes are electrically connected by means of conductors 13 to starts of primary windings 5 of magnetic amplifier which are inductive elements. Common point of finishes of windings 5 with the aid of conductor 14 and auxiliary electrode 2 with the aid of conductor 15 form electric outputs linked to generator 8 of rectangular pulses. Electric conductors 13 and 14 are connected through keys 9 and 10. Working and comparison electrodes have capability of connection to outer surfaces of pipe-line through keys 11 and 12 to create potential of main pipe- line across electrodes. Secondary winding 7 of magnetic amplifier is connected to matching element of measuring device. EFFECT: increased sensitivity and accuracy of measurement. 2 cl, 1 dwg
