FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: method of forming a flat bottom at rolling out a tubular blank with a right-angle bending of generatrices by a friction tool, having linear surface, comprises steps of applying energy for metal deforming to the rotary blank and to the deforming tool, being rotated along a rounding arc; successive stages of forming the bottom imparting to the tubular blank mutually opposite motions along its axis in such a way, that at first stage of forming the blank is being moved towards the tool and upon a second stage of forming - to opposite side; matching a change of direction of motion speed vector with motions of a center of applying of a deformation effort to the tool along an arc of a circle, spaced by a distance, defined by technological parameters of the deformation process, equidistantly relative to the rounding arc of the deforming tool. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, enhanced efficiency of the process of forming the flat bottom of the tubular blank. 1 cl, 5 dwg
