FIELD: sewage purification from heavy metals ions for full scale utilization of sewage treatment products and simplification of treatment method. SUBSTANCE: settling of heavy metals ions from sewage is exercised by freshly prepared trivalent iron hydroxide used as collector with pH medium 9 - 10 taken in terms of 1) Fe+3 in ratio to sum of heavy metals ions as 5 : 1. Potassium hydroxide solution is used as alkaline reacting agent. Sediment is filtered and dried. Depending upon temperature of drying iron oxide pigments, that are base for paints preparation, or ferritic powder, that is base for ferrites production, are produced. Filtrate is utilized as liquid potassium fertilizers. Sewage treatment products are utilized as valuable for economy products. Environment safety is ensured, because any discharges are absent. Method is simple and does not require heating, and is easily realized by general processing equipment. EFFECT: method is simple, does not require heating and allows full utilization of sewage treatment products, ecologically safe. 4 tbl
