FIELD: electronic devices; traveling-wave tubes. SUBSTANCE: microwave power input-output device for helical slow-wave structure is, essentially, microwave transmission line with vacuum-tight coaxial bushing. Microwave transmission line is connected through shielded conductor to slow-wave structure cylinder and through current-carrying conductor passed through hole in cylinder, to last turn of helix. Microwave transmission line is shielded microstrip line whose insulating substrate is placed between last turn of helix and cylinder hole edge closest to helix.
