FIELD: dairy industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for the production of butter from cream by churning and can be used in the dairy industry, peasant farms and private farms. The device for making butter contains a horizontally located cylindrical container, fixed in bearings, and a churning mechanism, displaced from the center of the cylindrical container down and made in the form of a cylindrical rotor with a chevron arrangement of blades along the flow separation sections L, which are formed by flat algebraic curves - deltoids. The opening angle of the blades α in the direction of rotation of the churning mechanism is 58…62°. The ratio of the diameter of the knocking mechanism dm to the diameter of the cylindrical container de is 0.45.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to exclude the formation of stagnant zones and increase the productivity of the device for making butter.
