SUBSTANCE: walking support has housing 1 with two front and two rear walking propulsion devices 2 and 3, respectively, installed at sides of housing and made in form of hinged four-link lambda-shaped members arranged in vertical plane and furnished with shoes 5. Shoes of rear walking device 3 are connected with shoes of front walking devices by rods 9. Device has also power drive consisting of engine 10 and reduction gear 11. Novelty in design of walking support is that it has driving axle connected with power drive and kinematically coupled with crank 6 of front walking propulsion devices 2 through resilient torsional members deformable in working stroke stage and providing accelerated transfer phase and it has also overrunning clutches 14 rigidly coupled with housing 1, movable portions of clutches being kinematically coupled with cranks 6 of front walking propulsion devices 2.
