CROSS-COUNTRY VEHICLE WALKING SUPPORT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cross-country walking vehicles and it can be used in self-propelled multisupport vehicles with walking propulsive devices. Proposed walking support contains housing, walking propulsive device, power drive and carrying beams on which walking propulsive devices are installed in pairs. Walking propulsive are furnished with carryon adaptation and turning mechanisms of walking support. Said mechanisms are made in form of rotary cranked axle common for each of walking propulsive device mounted on carrying beam square to plane of articulated four-member mechanism. Axles of suspension of rocking levers of walking propulsive devices are hinge secured on rotary cranked axle. Carry-on adaptation and turning mechanisms include power hydraulic cylinder installed on carrying beams and connected with cranked axle by lever. Invention provides multiple function layout with stepless control of turning radius and possibility of changing height of lifting of walking propulsive device shoes in phase of transfer on base of new carry of adaptation and turning mechanisms of walking support and new working cycle of walking propulsive devices at straight-line movement and turning on base of control system of support points of walking propulsive devices at movement of walking support.
