FIELD: transport engineering; self-propelled multiple-support cross-country vehicles. SUBSTANCE: support has housing with walking propulsion units in form of articulated four-member mechanisms including curvilinear supports with shoes hinge-coupled with cranks and rocking levers. Free ends of levers are hinge-coupled with housing. Propulsion unit cranks are mechanically coupled with power drive. Support is made in form of assembly of walking propulsion units mechanically coupled with each other and hinge-mounted with shift in phase through 1/4 of turn of propulsion unit crank at one side of housing. Housing is made in form of hollow bearing beam. Cranks are rigidly secured on axles which are perpendicular to housing longitudinal axis and are provided with additional cranks mechanically coupled by common connecting rod. Distance axles of walking propulsion units are chosen to provide overlapping of shoe working surfaces in longitudinal direction. Ski-like shoes are installed at angle to longitudinal axis at one side of housing. Each shoe has nose lifting mechanism in phase of transfer of walking propulsion unit, this mechanism being made in form of higher friction joint. Higher friction joint connects shoe with curvilinear support. EFFECT: provision of low specific ground pressure, possibility of operation on ecologically vulnerable soils, improved traction and coupling properties of support and cross-country capacity of vehicle. 6 dwg
