FIELD: fuel preparation in different branches of industry, to increase degree of fuel purification from water by strong electrical fields in particular. SUBSTANCE: fuel electroseparator has body with branch pipes of fuel feeding in and removal, electric field forming system of active electrodes, that are connected with high-voltage source of power, block of not connected with source of power passive electrodes. Passive and active electrodes blocks are made in the form of set of metal plates and cylindrical conductors with given interval of ratio between cylindrical conductors diameter and width of plates. All electrodes blocks are located in parallel to each other in working volume of electroseparator. For operational control of flooding degree they use block of passive electrodes, cylindrical conductors lower row of which is electrically insulated from system of plate-type conductors and outputs of both systems are connected by microammeter. Metal net with electrically insulating, oil and water resistant cover, for example, fluoroplastic is mounted on isolators at outlet of fuel electroseparator. EFFECT: fuel electroseparator allows to increase degree of fuel purification from water by strong electrical fields. 3 dwg
