FIELD: instruments for measuring characteristics of ionizing radiation. SUBSTANCE: method involves usage of scintillation spectrometer with organic crystal for measuring device spectrum without separation of neutron and gamma radiation. Crystal is located at different angles at direction towards source that correspond to maximal and minimal angles of angle anisotropy effect for light output of crystal. All signals which amplitude is less than amplitude generated by recoil protons which maximal power is 14 MeV. Fluency of thermonuclear neutrons is determined according to equation based on by-channel addition of differences of device spectrum. EFFECT: increased precision, increased speed of determination of result, simplified process. 1 dwg
