FIELD: production of aluminum-silicon alloys. SUBSTANCE: aluminum-silicon-containing raw material is used in form of ash of thermoelectric plants formed in combustion of brown coals and reduction of produced finely divided raw materials is accomplished in electrolyzer in the presence of cryolite. Ash is added within the limits of 0.5-80 mas.% of the total mass of raw materials containing aluminum and silicon oxides. Ash impurities are not harmful for any grade of silumins, and iron in amount of 0.8-1.3% serves as alloying element for deformable silumin alloy AKCh. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 tbl
