FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: one side of the housing of the parting-off tool is provided with a projection for interaction with the tool holder and the other side. Between fixed jaw of the housing, the ends of which project out of the ends of the movable jaw of the slide along the housing, and the movable jaw is plate cutter secured by way of a load- carrying screw received in the opening in the housing. The threaded end of the screw interacts with the threaded opening made in the slide. The tool is provided with bolts used for interconnecting the parts of the detachable housing which consists of stop beam with fixed jaw made up as a projection and threaded openings perpendicular to the fixed jaw. The housing has also at least one distant plank and plank with the projection for interaction with the tool holder. Both of the planks have projections with grooves between them. Each projection is provided with openings parallel to its sides. These openings and threaded openings in the stop beam for the bolts are axially alined. The slide is provided with grooves which enclose the projections on the planks. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
