FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: element made from metal oxide superconductor with copper oxide chains in its structure is placed into analyzed medium, voltage is fed to it. When oxygen thermodynamic equilibrium is achived resistance of superconductor is measured. Number of atoms of oxygen is found by measured resistance and value of concentration of oxygen in examined gas is assessed by change of this number. Device for determination of oxygen concentration has element manufactured from metal superconductor with copper oxide chains in its structure to which voltage is fed to measure resistance and heater to which voltage is supplied by means of electrodes.
