FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: scanner can be used for nondestructive testing of bushings, tubes with thwe aid of ultrasonic inspection with shadow method. Scanner includes frame carrying drive, reduction gear, screw, sliding nut, converters, unit for attachment and installation of tested article in the form of holding collet. Gear of reduction gear is mounted for rotation on immobile screw and is coupled to sliding nut with the help of fork which pins are located in grooves of nut. Holding collet is made to sliding nut. Screw is fitted with additional basing collet mounted so that converters are positioned between this basing and holding collets. Catcher is put on gear of reduction gear uniaxialy to screw.
