FIELD: visual correction of antenna wavefront and experimental demonstration. SUBSTANCE: point light source 5 placed in focus of antenna parabolic housing 1 is turned on, its rays creating light front; screen 6 displays reflected graticule applied to front surface of antenna parabolic housing 1; position of graticule reflected on screen is noted, and then parabolic housing is shaped through given length by means of mechanical actuators arranged on its rear surface; deformed graticule image is displayed on screen, and deviations of deformed graticule nodes 2 from their initial position is determined to conclude how given deformation influences wavefront distortion.
