FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has mechanism for belt loading and mechanism for indication of belt tension. Mechanism for belt loading is manufactured in the form of cylindrical coil placed on the outside of belt and electrically connected to D.C. source with level of output signal changed by means of relay and of ferromagnetic disc put under coil coaxially to it. Mechanism for indication of belt tension has frequency meter connected to source of current through blocking capacitor and distance key for simultaneous switching on of frequency meter and switching over of D.C. source to another level of output signal. Ferromagnetic disc is positional under belt and is fixed with clamp made in the form of L-shaped ferromagnetic plate attached with end of smaller flange of plate to plane of ferromagnetic disc.
