FIELD: processing and utilization of household and / or industrial wastes mainly including carbon-bearing materials wastes. SUBSTANCE: aim is to avoid additional operations to bury gasification wastes, to increase thermal resistance of gas generator, to decrease mounting area for the aggregate. Gas generator is formed in mass of solid carbon-bearing mineral resource using partial gassing out of the mass with formation of underground cavity, in which then wastes, that are to be subjected to gasification, and blowing are fed, and gasification gas-shaped products are removed. Process of wastes gasification and their feeding in gas generator are carried out without stirring of burning face till full filling of underground cavity with gasification solid wastes, maintaining speed of gasified material not over speed of its gasification. EFFECT: method allows to avoid additional operations of gasification wastes burying, to increase gas generator thermal resistance. 3 cl, 2 dwg
