FIELD: medicinal and veterinary microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves homogenization of analyzed material by its shaking with an equal amount of trisodium phosphate at amplitude 0.5-2.5 mm and frequency 40-60 Hz for 10-20 min, incubation for 18-20 hr, precipitate isolation, its neutralization with carboxylic acid to 6.8 ≅ pH < 7.0 followed by repeated precipitate isolation for sowing on the nutrient medium. Method can be used for tuberculosis diagnosis. EFFECT: improved method of mycobacteria detection. 3 tbl
