FIELD: biotechnology, medicine, microbiology.

SUBSTANCE: material is collected in the process of isolation of urine fresh portions. Each urine portion is treated with 2% sulfuric acid solution, then with 5% sodium trisubstituted phosphate solution, and then urine sample is centrifuged and precipitate is neutralized with 1% citric acid solution. Mycobacteria in precipitate are cultured in nutrient medium "Novaya". Method provides enhancing precision of laboratory diagnosis by reducing quantitative losses due to sparing treatment.

EFFECT: improved detecting method.
