FIELD: medicine, radiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposure of xenon enriched with xenon-124 isotope placed into ampoule. Immediately after irradiation ampoule is cooled to dry ice temperature and gaseous xenon is placed into sealed vessel containing sodium hydroxide solution cooled to liquid nitrogen temperature. Concentration of sodium hydroxide is taken from condition providing pH value of the end product 10, not less. Then product into vessel is kept under normal conditions for 10-15 days, then product is separated from the gaseous xenon placing the latter into the next sealed vessel.
