FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of changing atmospheric conditions over a given territory and is intended for formation of rain clouds, mainly during droughts. The method comprises spraying in the atmospheric surface layer of fine hygroscopic water-soluble particles and/or droplets of chemicals while ensuring the saturated vapour pressure less than the current pressure at the time of spraying of water vapour in the atmospheric surface layer. As a result, a steady upward convective air flow is initiated while ensuring the conditions of transition of dry adiabatic process to wet adiabatic process during rising of this air flow.

EFFECT: proposed invention enables to ensure at a minimum set of resources the effective impact on the atmospheric conditions during drought or the occurrence of smog.
