FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of peptides interacting with antibodies raised to hepatitis C virus. Peptides of the formula Bt-x (I-III) is synthesized by solid-phase synthesis using the sequential peptide chain splicing on copolymer of styrene with 1% divinylbenzene. The synthesized peptides react with serum blood of patients at different degree. Their composition taken at the weight ratio Bt-x(I) : Bt-x(II) : Bt-x(III) = (15-30): (3-20): (60-80) provides 100% detection of patient serum with hepatitis C at 100% specificity. Structural composition of peptides is given in invention description. Composition can be used as antigens in diagnostic test-systems and in indirect variant of immuno-enzyme analysis.
