FIELD: mechanic, hydraulic systems.
SUBSTANCE: the device relates to the sealing equipment and can be used for sealing movable connections in hydraulic devices, in particular, in hydraulic shock absorbers of passenger railway cars. The technical result is increase in the reliability of the rod seal assembly and its operating life time, including operation at lower temperatures. In the rod seal of the hydro-damper, which contains a guide bushing, through which the rod with the sealing element is passed, according to the invention, two guiding rings are introduced. The guide bushing is made in two parts, provided with ring grooves for guiding rings in each of the parts, and provides for the installation of the sealing element inside of one of the parts. The design of the split guide bushing allows to install a rigid sealing sleeve between the guiding rings of the rod, which protect it against mechanical abrasion damage by particles and against environmental temperature influences and the influence of humidity, snow, and ice. The placement of the guiding rings in non-connected parts of the guide bushing allows their self-centering on the rod, which decreases their wear and increases the reliability of the sealing device and hydro-damper as a whole.
EFFECT: increased reliability and operation life of sealing.
