FIELD: metallurgy, machine building, instrument making, electronic and electrical engineering industries. SUBSTANCE: claimed process for preparing amorphous metallic materials comprises spraying metallic powders in layers by detonation of mixture containing fuel and oxidizer. 50-95% of maximum permissible amount of neutral gas are added to said detonating mixture containing 60-95% amount of upper or maximum permissible detonation limit. EFFECT: improved properties of the amorphous metallic materials.
