FIELD: fuel processing industry; thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: furnace has ignition chamber provided with lateral fuel supply branch pipe and axial air blast supply branch pipe, vertical pipe coaxially mounted above ignition chamber and connected with it and combustion chamber provided with combustion product discharge branch pipe. Vertical pipe is arranged coaxially inside combustion chamber which is provided with heat exchange surface and devices for removal of unburnt particles of fuel located in lower portion of combustion chamber and connected with ignition chamber. Hot particles of fuel to be burnt and preheated air are fed to ignition chamber. Ignited gas suspension is blown into combustion chamber through vertical pipe. larger particles from flow of gas suspension settle over near-wall of combustion chamber and are cooled due to contact with heat exchange surfaces. Cooled particles are removed from combustion chamber and are returned to ignition chamber. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
