FIELD: power engineering, chemistry. SUBSTANCE: fine-grain fuel is dried, subjected to pyrolysis with solid heat carrier in fluidized bed in first reactor to obtain semi-coke in steam-gas mixture. Thereupon semi-coke and mixture containing flue gases and water steam in amount 50-75% by volume based on mixture volume, steam-to-semi-coke ratio being (1-8):1, are fed into second reactor in which semi-coke is heated up to 700-850 C to obtain final product, while heated semi-coke is recirculated to first reactor for use as solid heat carrier, oxygen content in flue gases being 0.05-0.1% by volume. EFFECT: improved semi-coke quality due to its increased adsorptive capacity. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
