FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic converter and concentrator are made in form of integral quarter-wave-length rocking shaft, and rotation-imparting drive is combined with base plate connected, via springy element, to disc flange and to resilient pushers, one end of which is attached to disc flange at angle α₁, while their free ends are pressed against axial face of concentrator for frictional cooperation. Instrument can be used for drilling and cutting osseous and cartilaginous tissues, and for inserting fixtures for fixation of bone fractures in traumatology.
