FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and can be used as a surgical instrument for removing endoprosthesis components as a part of large joint replacement. The ultrasonic waveguide represents a structure comprising half-wave cylindrical and exponential elements, wherein the exponential elements having a base diameter d are arranged at a working end face of the cylindrical element having a diameter D and provided with a central blind hole at a depth of one-fourth of wave length and diameter D1=D-2d; the base centres of the exponential element are arranged around the circumference a diameter of which is two radiuses of the exponential element less than that of the cylindrical element, while the elements are fastened with screws at 120 degrees.
EFFECT: using the invention enables removing the endoprosthesis cup during revision prosthetic replacement with low bone loss and reducing the time of removal.
