SUBSTANCE: composition which offers contrast to X-radiation comprises particles consisting essentially only of non-radioactive crystalline organic substance which offers contrast to X-radiation. Surface modifier is adsorbed on surface of particles in amount sufficient to maintain effective average particle size at level below 400 nm. Composition also comprises pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Composition is intended for use in radiodiagnostics for visualizing images. Composition can be infused into specific body tissue or bodily fluid, such as into blood, level, kidneys or lymphatic nodules.
