FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrical heater is made by electrical conducting nonmetallic composite material using namely silica fibre with pyrocarbon electric conducting layer. Electrical conducting thread is made like assembly of monofibers with diameters from 4 to 6 mcm. Monofibers are made from fused quartz or silica treated at high temperature about 1000-1100 deg C by tube type reactor using during 2-4 min in atmosphere of inert gas, for example nitrogen, transmitted preliminary trough oxygen free organic liquid, for instance kerosene. Under this processing any fibre surface is covering by pyrocarbon electric conducting films as result of heterogeneous reaction. Electric conductivity of such covering can be made 3-200 kOhm/m. Thread rupture strength is growing up by 2-4 times and it covering electrical conductivity stability is 3-5 times better with respect to known one.
