FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: process consisting in contacting stripped oil with alumino/nickel and/or alumino/cobalt/molybdenum catalyst in hydrogen medium at elevated temperature and pressure is distinguished with that, as hydrorefining intensifier, alcohols with boiling point not higher than 100 C in amount 1-25 vol % are used, process is carried out at 360-420 C and pressure 45-200 atm on catalyst packet providing at least 90% conversion of sulfur in diesel fraction derived from treated oil when process has been conducted at 365 C, pressure 35 atm, oil feed volume velocity at least 3 h-1 followed by fractionating of product obtained and recycling intensifier. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
