FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; cleaning of exhaust gases from harmful components and soot. SUBSTANCE: converter has housing of oval shape, end face cover, inlet and outlet branch pipes, housing inner partitions, catalytic reactor whose inner space is formed by inner surfaces of end face wall, end face cover reactor walls. Holding guides in form of swirlers, and filters are placed inside reactor space. One of filters is made of ceramic material and is designed for entrapping hard particles and afterburning the particles on surface in presence of catalyst. Other filter is placed inside ceramet filter and is made in form of ribbed radiator. Oxygen sensor is installed in inlet branch pipe. Ceramet filter is installed in catalytic gauze envelope.
