FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; cleaning of exhaust gases of diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has cylinder block, cylinders, exhaust ports, intake and exhaust manifolds with reactor mounted in exhaust manifold. Reactor consists of housing and inner partitions which serve as reactor attachment posts and divide manifold housing into two parts. Inner partition accommodates reactor housing with gas inlet and outlet pipes with pairs of ports pointed to different spaces of manifold provided with inlet branch pipe. Porous cermet oxidizing and reducing filters made in form of hollow cones are arranged in reactor housing. Hollow tubular rotary spools with levers are arranged inside pipes. Each spool has at least one port pointed to side of corresponding space. EFFECT: effective cleaning of exhaust gases. 1 dwg
