FIELD: plastic metal working, namely heat exchange cryogenic apparatuses and methods of making them in cryogenic technics for cooling liquid at afloat arrangement of heat exchanger. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger includes rigid grid with cooling agent conduit 1 placed inside fluid-tight elastic polymeric tank 3 secured to rigid grid by outer plates 2 and mutually connected at their outer vertical sides by clamping members 4. Working surface of heat exchanger is polymeric film secured between bridges 7,8. In order to provide enhanced distribution of tension efforts of polymeric film, lateral walls of outer plates and rigid grid are provided with tapers. Method of making heat exchanger allows to place rigid grid inside polymeric fluid-tight tank and secure it to said rigid grid by means of outer plates. In order to increase service life period of heat exchange, joined surfaces of rigid grid and outer plates are coated by water - resistant paint. In order to enhance technological effectiveness all parts of heat exchanger are made of polymeric material whose surfaces are heated from outside at their mutual joining; heated surfaces of heat from outside at their mutual joining; heated surfaces of heat exchanger are cooled by removing heat from opposite side of surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced fluid-tightness, technological effectiveness and heat exchange with lowered electric energy consumption at making heat exchanger by mounting grid with cooling agent conduit inside fluid-tight elastic tank. 5 cl, 2 dwg
