FIELD: mechanical engineering; food industry; storage and cooling of milk at milk farms. SUBSTANCE: reservoir is made of heat insulated polymeric walls with rigid latticed skeleton to reduce heat capacity and weight. Space between walls is filled with light gas. Reservoir is covered with metal layers from outside. Method of manufacture comes to fastening heat-insulating layer on outer sides of polymeric walls. Rigid latticed skeleton, preliminarily coated with polymer and heated, is secured on heat-insulating layer. Preliminarily heated polymeric plates are pressed to skeleton and butts of plates are connected to form free interwall space hermetically sealed from surrounding medium. Inner and outer surfaces of reservoir are straightened cleaned, polished and coated with layer of copper and then layer of anticorrosive metal.
