FIELD: surgery. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing 1 with end handles 6,9 and end working part formed as pressing jaws 12 and 18. Detachable suturing needle member with ligatures is positioned on one pressing jaw and suturing member stop is positioned on other pressing jaw. Suturing member is formed as movable magazine 15 containing atraumatic needles 16 and ligatures 19. Pressing jaw 18 with needle stop is further provided with ligature retainer, ligature tensioner and removable protective ligature plate 29. Apparatus allows sutures to be applied by means of up-to-date surgical ligatures, including soluble ligatures. EFFECT: increased efficiency by improved quality of suture and, as a result, satisfactory results of operation. 3 cl, 6 dwg
