FIELD: separation of oil-containing sludges. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of sludges originated from recovery of exhausted detergent solutions, cutting fluids, and industrial oils and consists in destruction of water-oil sludge by entering oil obtained previously when recovering industrial oils or cutting fluids at weight sludge to oil ratio (10-7):1 followed by heating to 78-80 C and separation of oil by settling at unforced cooling. Separated oil is used either for introducing into initial sludge to destroy it, or as commercial product, whereas remaining part of sludge is treated with dry lime, water, and 0.1-0.2% of polyacryloamide. Method enables recovery of 60-79% of commercial oil, precipitate, and water fit to be cleaned on conventional water-treating plants. EFFECT: improved procedure. 3 cl
