FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: braking device has two groups of three diodes star-type connections made so that its anodes are connected to three phase terminals of power supply but cathodes are connected one to another correspondingly and to capacitors. Diodes groups, cathodes junctions common points are connected to switching contacts of power contactor and phases terminals of electric motor stator windings correspondingly by closing contacts of braking device contactor. Additional capacitor one terminal is connected to third of stator winding but other terminals of every capacitors are connected together and so made common point is connected to star-type junction of stator winding by closing contacts of braking device contactor and antiparallel diodes circuits. EFFECT: more effective braking, less overheating of electric motor and vibration intensity. 1 dwg
