FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, squirrel-cage induction motors. SUBSTANCE: device which stator winding is connected by delta connection has capacitors which are connected to stator winding, working and braking contactors, dynamic braking switch and direct current power supply, which is designed as three rectifying bridges. Negative output terminals of these bridges are connected to general points of two phases of stator winding of electric motor. Positive output terminals are connected to middle tap of phase windings. In addition device has tree additional transformers, nine diodes and serial circuit of two resistors. One resistor is variable. Secondary windings of transformer of direct current power supply are connected in series to primary winding of additional transformers, which secondary windings are connected to resistor through three diodes. Six diodes are connected to each other in opposing pairs and are connected in parallel to half-windings of stator. EFFECT: increased reliability, increased intensity and efficiency of braking. 1 dwg
