FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology. SUBSTANCE: proposed prosthesis contacts with tympanic membrane transplant and comprises supporting platform in form of plate made of autocartilage or homocartilage having opening at its center to receive end of rod made of plastic tube. Rod is secured to plate with help of fixation elements made in form of lugs formed by cuts in wall of corresponding end of tube. Cuts are made also at other end of tube to improve its contact. EFFECT: invention can be used to improve hearing of persons affected with chronic inflammation of middle ear after surgical intervention. 3 dwg
