FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shock wave is allowed to strike a blank repeatedly and hot combustion products, which are generated inside the explosion chamber due to detonation in combustible gas mixture initiated by a pulse, affect the blank as well. The mixture is obtained by mixing a combustible component with a component-oxidizer. The components are supplied to the explosion chamber individually one after the other. The initiating pulse is generated upon the completion of supplying of the mixture component that is the first to be introduced into the chamber.
