FIELD: decontaminating concrete, cement, and brick surfaces of building structures, rock, metal, alloy, and polymeric surfaces. SUBSTANCE: mechanical stresses are built up in contaminated surface layer by shock wave produced due to explosion of combustible gas mixture contacting the entity being decontaminated. Combustible gas mixture is obtained by mixing up combustible gas and oxidizing gas in explosive proportion. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, improved productivity, reduced cost. 3 cl, 5 dwg
