FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method comprises facing of high- speed steel in the groove on the working portion of the tool made of a structural steel. Before the facing the groove is bounded with an identical major additional working portion. The working portion are arranged so that the grooves face each other. From the sides the working portion groove is closed with forming plates. The metal faced is then treated by heat. EFFECT: simplified method. 4 cl, 5 dwg
